PWInsider.com is reporting that at a recent Florida Championship Wrestling TV taping, announcers Josh Matthews and Dusty Rhodes were almost drowned out during the filming of a ringside segment by a chorus of fans chanting "Colt Cabana," who is recently released Smackdown talent Scotty Goldman. Apparently the ongoing chant began to irritate Rhodes, who shouted back to the fans during a commercial break, "He's gone," referring to Goldman.
The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Chris Jericho was mainly in charge of creative for his in-ring segment with Roddy Piper a couple weeks ago on Raw. Jericho told Piper to hold back on the comedy and to cut a promo similar to the Piper character that we saw at Wrestlemania 1. Although it was a serious, different Piper character than we are used to, Jericho thought it would be more effective for the current storyline.
