According to a report on the Entertainment Weekly website, TNA Wrestling has signed Survivor: Amazon winner and former Playboy cover girl Jenna Morasca to a contract. Morasca will debut in TNA on next week's episode of Impact.
"Everyone is covered in glitter and makeup and stuff and then goes and beats the crap out of each other," Morasca told Entertainment Weekly." This is perfect for me."
Morsaca said she will indeed wrestle after she is trained. The 28-year-old also plans on working under her real name.
"I'm gonna be me because it's more beneficial to know it's me from Survivor," she said. "If I had to take a name, it would be a terrible stripper name like Candy Cane Lane."
-- TNA has posted a webmatch pitting Homicide and newcomer Brutus Magnus, which was taped a day or two following the Against All Odds pay-per-view. It would appear that TNA decided to scale back on the UK wrestler's push following his showing against Chris Sabin at Against All Odds (which drew "Fire Russo" chants from the audience) as he suffers his first pinfall loss in the webmatch. Furthermore, Magnus was not used at last week's set of Impact tapings despite three shows being taped.
-- TNA will be holding a house show at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena in Huntington, West Virginia on May 2nd, 2009. Tickets go on sale March 20th, 2009 at 10 AM. Go to http://prowrestlingevents.tk or http://prowrestlingevents.webs.com for info about upcoming wrestling shows worldwide
