PWTorch.com is reporting that although Christian might have supporters on the creative team in WWE, the biggest thing that's holding him back in the company is that he is disliked by Vince McMahon. Vince has said on numerous occasions that he does not think Christian is a "star," and this is why his pushes never reach very high. One source close to the situation was quoted as saying "he [Vince] cares more about the doormat at his house than Christian. I don't understand why you re-up with the guy and then don't do anything with him." It's also being reported, however disputed, that TNA's final contract offer to Christian was worth around $2.5 million for a multi-year deal. Although this seems like a figure Christian would have a hard time turning down, it should be noted that one of the biggest reasons he decided to leave TNA was because he had very little faith in the creative team.
We reported several days ago that Jackie Gayda has been contacted by WWE about appearing in the 25 Diva Battle Royal which will take place at Wrestlemania. It's now being reported that when Gayda first got the call from VP of Talent Johnny "Ace," she was positive it was news that her husband, Charlie Haas, was being released from WWE. She was of course relieved to know that it was a job offer instead of a job loss.
