Former WWE Diva Miss Jackie (Jackie Gayda-Haas) told a fan at the Arnold Classic Expo this weekend that WWE approached her about wrestling at the 25 Diva Battle Royal at WrestleMania XXV, reports prowrestling.NET.
Tyler Turner reports: "Ran into Jackie at the Arnold Classic Expo in Columbus, Ohio this weekend. She looks great, and I chatted with her for a few minutes. She said the WWE had already contacted her about being in the Divas battle royal at WrestleMania."
In 2002, Gayda-Haas was awarded a contract from World Wrestling Entertainment after co-winning the second series of the reality television show Tough Enough. On July 8, 2005, Jackie was released by WWE along with her husband, Charlie Haas.
-- It's interesting to note that the appearances section on WWE.com is listing former WWE wrestler Raven for an event on Saturday, March 28th at the Merchants Square Outlet Mall in Allentown, Pennsylvania. This is a non-WWE event called Hardcore Reunion, a wrestling convention not affiliated with the promotion. It will feature Tommy Dreamer and Joey Styles, which explains why it's being listed. Styles recently posted a blog on the WWE Universe site promoting the event. Raven being listed is somewhat surprising as he recently pursued litigation against World Wrestling Entertainment. However, the case was thrown out last week.
