Even the UFC is feeling the pinch in these bad economic times.
The UFC continues to cut fighters who they feel just aren't pulling their own weight or competing up to the standards they have set for all their fighters.
The latest fighter to be cut from the UFC is Troy "Rudeboy" Mandaloniz.
Mandaloniz lost his last fight to Paul Kelly at UFC 95 via a unanimous decision Mandaloniz's record in the UFC was just 1-1.
Writing on BJ Penn.com earlier, Mandaloniz had this to say about his departure:
"I thought I showed them what I was made of, but I guess not. I don't think I see too many other fighters out there fighting with the same passion and intensity that I bring".
Mandaloniz also doesn’t rule out a return to the UFC by saying:
"I'm a fighter that people want to see fight and maybe one day after I prove myself again I could be back in the UFC”.
