Event organizers for Saturday's "March Badness" hybrid MMA/boxing card have secured a late addition for the card; former UFC fighter Dennis Hallman (39-12-2) will meet Danny Ruiz (5-3) on the MMA portion of the card.

Former UFC heavyweight contender Jeff Monson (27-Cool vs. former IFL title-holder Roy Nelson (13-3), on the pay-per-view portion of the card.

The main event features a boxing main event between event promoter and former Olympian Roy Jones Jr. (52-5) and Omar Sheika (27-Cool.

"March Badness," promoted by Jones' Square Ring Promotions in association with Hirsch Borao Boxing, takes place at the Pensacola Civic Center in Florida.

Hallman, a 12-year MMA veteran, goes for his fourth straight victory (and sixth win in his past seven fights) when he takes on Ruiz. Hallman, who's fought for top organizations such as the UFC and Strikeforce, is perhaps best known for his 2-0 record against future UFC hall-of-famer Matt Hughes. They were two of his 30 submission victories in 39 career fights.

Ruiz, meanwhile, launched his career with a 5-0 record, which included a first-round submission win over "The Ultimate Fighter 7" cast member Luke Zachrick in 2007. However, Ruiz has since suffered three consecutive losses, all of which have come via stoppage. He returns to competition for the first time since May.

Also guaranteed to be part of Saturday's PPV broadcast are Bobby Lashley (1-0) vs. Jason Guida (17-19) and Din Thomas (23-Cool vs. Gabe Lemley (13-Cool, according to an event spokesperson.

In addition to Jones vs. Sheika, a boxing match between B.J. Flores (22-0-1) and Jose Luis Herrera (16-5-1) is also guaranteed for the night's PPV broadcast.
